Which Linux logfiles are good to keep an eye on?

I’m writing a Rust app to monitor system logfiles but am not sure which are most useful to keep an eye on. Any suggestions?

[This is actually a spin off from the safe-dash local vault monitoring app I’m using to learn a bit of Rust.]
