One of the things I like about Safe Network is that pseudonyms are allowed and there is no attempt to require “Proof of Personhood”, which usually leads to loss of privacy, centralized power and control.
I came across this paper which I found tangentially interesting. They discuss the “Decentralized Identity Trilemma”, ie the combination of sybil resistance, self-sovereignty and privacy-preservation.
It’s basically a review of past and present projects. Not really proposing anything new.
