Resistance is futile. You will be exterminated.

“Unprecedented” Chinese Genetic Experiment May Lead To Army Of Radiation-Resistant Super Soldiers

I suspect the name of the guy heading the project is Davros. As he completely mutated his people until they were radiation resistant.

I suspect we are going to need an exchange on the Safe Network ASAP. I think BISQ on Safe would be excellent.

The problem with BISQ at the moment is low liquidity, but with these totalitarian moves by the US and some other govs I am hopeful that could change. The Java version has some issues with font size and such and could use some UI improvements. Would also be nice to see a WASM version for use on SN.

Astronomers admit though that the occasional five-fingered stars are a rather annoying artifact.

Hey, they’re already doing ridiculous things with the climate change models … why stop there? Just allow AI to imagine what the universe looks like.

What could go wrong?

Pretty interesting AI and GPT discussion in this weeks episode.

Bittrex US closing.
Warren and her anti crypto army will claim a win.

Going global only - kinda sad that “global” does not include the US these days.

If everything said in this short report about the “restrict act” is true (and whether or not it’s true, it could still change before passing, assuming it does) … then the Safe Network is going to be targeted. Having a Safe-git and some protection for devs is going to be mandatory.

This is scary #*@^ @#

Scary stuff, but I would remind you 5-6 years ago we heard the same alarm( I wont call it fearmongering) around DAOs.
For over a year I stood up in front of business groups and repeated these stories that almost all the lower level workforce of the financial industries were going to be replaced by Solidity scripts.
Well I was wrong due to a wee flaw…

There may yet be a “wee flaw” with AI…
I havent seen it yet though…

It seems to me that the obvious solution to AI taking jobs is just to reduce the work week an equal percentage - but not lower pay.

AI should be freeing humanity, not enslaving it.

But but but, will nobody think of the shareholders? What about these poor oppressed business people? Those who daily risk other peoples money and should be rewarded, rather than the mugs who actually turn up and do real work.

edit: I know you’re being sarcastic here … but just had to play on it.

They won’t be put out. Shareholders can’t make any money if the company makes no profit - and it won’t if the masses are too broke to buy it’s products.

Freeing people to do other things also expands the economy - which means more jobs overall; new companies, new shares!, more money for shareholders to earn.

That would imply forward thinking by management - most of them cant see past a 3-month forecast.

The world needs leaders who can explain things to their small minds.
