The FBI doesn’t want to release the laptop to a court, and has requested to bury it for 66 years … given they have given no valid reason to request this, I would speculate that there are some emails on there that are damning for certain politicians.
Apparently it’s 73% compliant with OFAC rules as of November.
@Knosis posted this is the “watch this video” thread - worth a watch if you’re not too clear on what CBDC’s are and where things appear to be going.
Copyrights have been abused for a long time. No surprise the US did this. Biden lead the attack on Megaupload for his Hollywood donors. Asking for Kim to be extradited for a 100 sentence in the US. Here he is again working for the publishers and Hollywood folk. Same guys egging on escalations in Ukraine.
Dang, the snippet leaves the final word off the title: Willie

Wondering how this will ultimately turn out, because I hear that the SEC’s case against Ripple isn’t going well for the SEC.
Hoping they have the funding to appeal and go to a higher court.
This quite possibly has implications for Maidsafe too.
Dang, the snippet leaves the final words off the title: good hanging.

Some further context…
Thatcher of course was referring to Willie Whitelaw, her eminence grease.
Whitelaw and his family were well known around our area as the biggest landowners and holders of the mineral rights for much of North Lanarkshire and East Dunbartonshire. Many of my fathers relatives suffered working down pits owned by the Whitelaw clan who of course would not spend a penny on safety unless it improved their profits. Long term underinvestment and ignoring structural problems led directly to the disasters of 1931 and 1959 at Auchengeich. I am too young to remember either but heard plenty stories of my grandpas brother who died in the 1931 disaster and of neighbours whose families were affected by the larger 1959 disaster.
We know all about that c*nt Whitelaw and his clan.
Never forget however, there ARE good Tories. None with a pulse though.
Not under the mattress?!
A nice thing about the Safe Network is that your tokens can be stored on the network. Even your bitcoin keys can be stored there.
So nothing for the State to loot anymore.
They would only need your access code / user id.
You could store keys encryptrd on the btc chain and just need to memorise the key to decrypt it.
Not much difference really to the end user.
There is one difference, because Safe is a storage network, you can have all your keys and SN tokens stored in one place with one password.
I also expect SN will store blockchains and be host to DeFi exchanges at some point, so that further simplifies things.
And in Australia you get upto 10 years in jail for not giving them your password/access credentials when demanded by the authorities. Not sure of the minimum charge required before they can demand it, but I doubt its very high
So all your eggs in one basket, wouldnt be my go to solution .
2 to 5 yrs in the uk.
Not advice, but this is why some people would create fake accounts - so they can give access to those and not their real ones.
True, but i see little difference myself to just using a blockchain and memorising the decrypt key.
If no one but you knows you put the data there your pretty much ok.
The aim will be to have the best of all worlds … so greatest anonymity for funds and private data as well as greatest liquidity and security.
So I think that Safe Network could provide all of that better than any other alternative down the track … of course this is just my hypothetical speculation.
Just wow. In 2 days FTX has gone from prime time to acquired by Binance. ![]()
