Your reply ignores both the context (what you reposted) and what I said in response.
Accusing me of putting Sunak or government in general on a pedastol shows how little you know about my views, and your willingness to make assumptions that aren’t based on fact.
Where do I put Sunak on a pedastol in your opinion?
I don’t have to explain my views to point out your error. If you see things that aren’t there or suggest I have views which I do not, I’ll call that out and you can say, hey but you said X and that’s why I say you’re putting him on a pedastol.
It’s laughable that you think that, and I say this reveals how you make assumptions that contradict reality. You’re free to demonstrate my error by showing that what I said puts Sunak on a pedastol.
You assume they (politicians) aren’t working for their own financial interests in government - and so, you appear to claim I’m a fool for posting “conspiratorial nonsense”, when all I’m really doing is pointing out that humans do these things in general and Sunak may work toward this particular goal using the office for that ends - I’m not even implying that he will succeed while in office as these things can take a lot of time to wrangle politically, but I am certainly implying that he will use that office to work in that direction.
You are putting him on a pedestal by asserting that he is somehow better than the rest of humanity, who, everyday, do things to benefit themselves.
100%. You don’t have to respond to my posts at all, but you often do. And I’m 100% okay with that too, feel free to respond, but don’t complain to me when I ask further questions in order that I might seek to understand what you are saying.
Well one of us is definitely not seeing things clearly here. I will let others judge.
I don’t assume that and I didn’t say that. If you checked what I said after my reply you’d see that I said that some politicians may well wish to do push electronic IDs for their own reasons, which could well include Sunak - I made no comment on that as until your post I hadn’t heard about his interests or views on the topic. My point was that it is not relevant.
What I also said was that the item you reposted was irrational (“conspiratorial nonsense”) because there’s no way he can push electronic IDs in the current parliament and it is very unlikely he’ll be in a position to do so after a future election.
How that means I put him and other politicians on a pedestal you have still to justify.
Since this morning there seems to be a bug in that when I visit an unread post I’m take first to the latest post (correctly) and immediately scrolled back tens of posts to something days old.
“The future of software development tooling that is being built is closed as f–k and people seem to be okay with it because select components meet the OSI definition whilst missing the bigger picture that the compositional graph of components does not.”
New observations validating the MOND theory (& maybe also QI theory) but potentially falsifying standard Newtonian physics and “Dark Matter” theory. There was another set of observations a year or two ago, that I also posted about that also did so. MOND is moving up as a valid theory, but it’s not fully understood – neither is Dark Matter theory though, so toss up there. QI (Quantitative Inertia) is a more full picture theory but few people looking at it for some reason or another.
The last of the original greats has now passed on.
There is no hope for popular music.
I thank whatever that I was privileged enough to grow up when music meant something.
Heres the worlds greatest piano player doing the worlds greatest country song written by the worlds greatest rock and roll band. The backing vocalist isnt bad either
The Bay Area is teaming with mentally ill folk. It is sad. A ten minute walk in Berkeley or SF you’ll see 2 or 3 people talking to things or people that are not there. These people live on the street are not under medical supervision.
I’d like to add that if you are an empathic person over time it is stressful to be around so many people who are in desperate need of health care.
