A lot of what she says seems to resonate, though I thought her heavy usage of slavery was a bit inappropriate. Also I sense a deeper agenda with her like many populist politicians who think in line with ‘traditional’ values but also feel they have the right to enforce by law, which is just as much a contradiction, imo.

Like others have said, we’ll see.

@Josh I hope you have safety down there. Take care.

Recitation of Rudyard Kipling poem: “The Gods of the Copybook Headings” by youtuber Casual Historian

Text:

Thanks, it’s turning into a bit of a nightmare.
5 to 10 feet of storm surge forecast and as luck has it I live right in the heat of it.

The bigger problem is that I am in Atlanta and my flight home this afternoon is looking sketchy (in terms of cancelation)

Who gains from this? I can only think the US and/or the globalists. Another step closer to nuclear war I fear.

Here is perhaps the only Ukrainian worth listening to…

No surprises then…

Theyre a great tool, lots of uses, but bubbled beyond reason as with many things.

Artificial intelligence reduces a 100,000-equation quantum physics problem to only four equations

reading time: 5-7 minutes

Researchers trained a machine learning tool to capture the physics of electrons moving on a lattice using far fewer equations than would typically be required, all without sacrificing accuracy.

A.I. may well solve the mysteries of physics in time … and not a lot of time either, relative to a century of human attempts.

How are you getting on after the hurricane, @Josh? All well and no major damage, I hope?

I was thinking of you last night as I read this book by Carl Hiaasen that Mrs Southside got me out of the charity shop

It could be worse, many have it worse than me for sure.
No power, which would not be so bad, I have a generator but all petrol stations are dry and my supplies are running low which sucks.

Had to chainsaw my way out of the neighborhood this morning.

(I have some work to do so will be powering the office up tomorrow, hoping for a comnet hurricane ian edition )

All good though no injuries just a massive amount of cleanup needed.

Spent most of the day clearing this massive oak which was on my property and totally blocked the road.
