Hillary keeps saying things like she will fight terror on the net. Its fine if she wants to help people block ads and sponsorship that lead to puppet media but not fine when she wants to strengthen censorship of whatever political viewpoint that puppet masters might disagree agree with. It was thr same with her treatment of Assange. She seems to believe in censorship, secrecy and lack of transparency. On of her pr intern chicks said Hillary has shown she can be a good neocon. Its like saying she could be a good Nazi. Have to hope Hillary was just faking it.
looks like there are more on board than her to pave the road to hell with “good” intentions…
In an op-ed for The New York Times (paywall), Eric Schmidt, the executive chairman of Google, inserted himself directly into the middle of a heated debate about the line between fighting terrorism’s online reach and internet censorship.
“It’s our responsibility to demonstrate that stability and free expression go hand in hand,” he writes. “We should build tools to help de-escalate tensions on social media—sort of like spell-checkers, but for hate and harassment.”
The kind of threat de-escalation techniques that forum mods tend to use is bad enough but what Israel asked Google to do in terms of censoring Youtube video from the West Bank is unacceptable. Given past behavior with reference to the floatilla I think we know its not about things being taken out of context, rather
its like what the Bush Admin did when Assange exposed it hunting EU journalists in Iraq. The idea of a spun war is proff of total puppet media and the idiot theory of government which reduces it to spin and blocks of the people by the people for the people. The real politik people have to go.
