Watch this video! :)

Mr. beast get’s ‘canceled’ as he exposes how incompetent and corrupt government actually is. Trillions of dollars of wealth disappears into it’s maw every year and much of what is actually provisioned is for division and war.

Mr. Beast recently did an amazing thing, providing clean water to 500,000 people in Africa. But here’s the twist: it caused a major uproar.

Qued up to (1:45:00) Science Corner!: DeepMind’s new weather forecasting model …

This new AI (comparatively low parameter) model by google to forecast weather is dramatically more accurate than existing methods costing billions a year and it runs on a laptop using freely available data on the Internet.

I think this is more evidence supporting my view that low parameter models are better. Small parameter models are much more efficient and have less leeway to go astray in their ‘thinking’.

I’ve said it a couple of times here on the forum - I think the path to a super intelligence is through the melding of various low-parameter models into a hierarchical mind. As opposed to trying to jam as many parameters as possible into one box.

A documentary on Argentina’s financial problems and history by Peter McCormack of “What Bitcoin Did” channel on Youtube (~46m)

Using this fascinating technique you could store data in a fishing net.

The Inca encoded their data in knotted cords called quipus, where even texture as well as color size and other properties of the string added to the encoded message.

Items which may have looked like clothing and styling accessories where actually the USB drives of their time!!

Definitely watch this. Was very interesting and makes me extremely grateful for this community. Just wanted to say that.

Also would like to cc @mav as you have pointed me towards great resources in the past but the point I thought would pique your interest most is them challenging the social filter theory. All in all, found it somewhat inspiring in a way.

I’ll also be checking out ground.news/nutshell too.
