I have a feeling SAFEnetwork would represent a very good solution for individuals and companies alike when the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) goes live in 2018.
I imagine a future where I control a set of personal data on the SAFEnetwork. I will have full control of this and who can access it. I imagine that many companies would prefer to ask access to my data when needed instead of setting up complicated systems to “hold” my data themselves (and exposing themselves to risk of data breaches/fines).
This way the company access the information needed when needed. My personal data is input into a business process in the company but only the output is saved by the company.
This way will be a cheap and risk minimizing system for companies seeking to be GDPR compliant.
Anyway… this is just a thought/feeling I have…
