Been thinking about this angle for marketing recently. The idea of an indestructable network that can store data forever and retain human knowledge in the event of some catastrophic event is a cool concept.
So my idea is that we would build a physical vault on each continent. They would need to be artistically striking. Very much like those shiny monoliths that were popping up around the world. They would be working parts of the network but potential more of a publicity stunt but would be good if they could actually be useful in restarting the network in the event of a disaster.
Get people speculating what they are and then once the publicity has ramped give them the answer.
Really pump the idea that this is a backup for humanity should anything go wrong. A digital version of the papyrus scrolls for the future of humanity.
