We should do a lessons learned for future meetups
Ideal would be:
- Share the screen that is shown directly instead of a live feed.
- Use the microphone directly as audio input for the hangouts.
I think that should be possible, we just need to figure out how to do that exactly and write a HowTo. The way it is now; there is basically no point in watching this unfortunately, too much static noise and you can’t hear the speaker.
Hopefully the recording is better

I can say nothing, our first hangout lasted about 40 seconds where a bunch of folk stared at the screen wondering, then pulled the plug. We refuse to delete it as it’s real class and a laugh looking back, but only looking back

i’d recommend someone invest in a bluetooth microphone for the next recording
