Telegram shuts down public terrorist channels

The team behind the Telegram secure messaging app on Wednesday reported that it had shut down 78 channels, across 12 languages, used by ISIS and its supporters. However, the app’s privately used channels weren’t affected by the sweep.

Private channels remain, it seems. Presumably they’re encrypted so it’s impossible to tell which one is terrorist. This logic could apply to Safenet as well.

I agree. Same for Google who created their own encryption App. Ohw, and btw this also counts for the good old mail, like sending each other letters.
