Satoshi revealed

According to Craig Wright’s first public video on bitcoin back in december he claims satoshi intended the transaction opcodes to manipulate 2 different stacks: the Data stack (which is implemented in the current Bitcoin Virtual Machine) and the Return stack, which is manipulated on function calls and returns.

Whenever a function call is encountered, according to craigs proposal, execution is halted and a new transaction is created starting with a saved image of the previous 2 stacks and with the transaction value and fee taken from the previous transaction’s value.

We are yet to know weather this is possible. If it is then this shows he knows more regarding the creation of bitcoin than anyone else ive come across in the bitcoin space… hence satoshi is back! and he has a supercomputer

none of us have any proof. Gavin seems convinced. i have faith in gavin. i hope im right because if im wrong this could turn into a real shit storm.

… which is kind of the point when giving conclusive proof in 140 characters or less would be trivial

… who doesn’t like watching them storms? :smirk_cat:

wikileaks tweeted that craig is not satoshi nakamoto.

however after abit of digging, i found this from 2011.

scroll down to the comments and you can see dr wrights interesting perspective on wikileaks

for those who cannot be bothered reading, heres a quote from craig back in 2011

''Basically, I know of over 50 alternatives to PayPal. Some are close to PayPal in size and we also have to remember that WikiLeaks was the site that selected PayPal and not one of the alternatives. WL could have selected BitCoin, but it did not.

Should PayPal be penalised for WL’s poor choice (esp. given that PayPal has closed many sites where there is a level of cointraversy in the past)?

I say not. If you want to look at anything to blame, look to WL’s stupidity in selecting PayPal as a provider over BitCoin and others like them when PayPal is known to shy away from contraversy.

Choice… There was a heap of choice.‘’

Yep it’s funny how much heated debate/discussion and unnecessary energy and words are spent when moving the original coins is literally the only thing that people should be concerned with. But it isn’t. So you know something is really up with this publicity stunt.

Exactly

Nah If I ever became that rich I’d approach the Tax office and do a “deal” to fairly pay my taxes and live worry free. AU has a 50% wipe off capital gains then the rest of gains taxed at normal rate.
Gavin seems convinced
And you are relying on 4th hand information. Gavin has 2nd hand info, the media is 3rd hand and you are 4th. You may not realise it but information has been lost. Even Gavin admitted it might be faked, so we have the expert who has perhaps a little doubt.

And the “experts” can make mileage out of it even if it turns out to be a hoax, they then get interviews with the media explaining what happened, they get elevated in status by “learning” from the experience and exposing the expertly crafted forgery.

Wright has been seeking attention since before claiming to be Satoshi, prolonged the attention at every opportunity, and forever claiming to not want what he is seeking - attention. Stop looking at what Wright is saying and look at what he is doing and how he is doing it. That often speaks greater than the words. Bring up 6 kids and you will understand.

he could start a company off shore, but these academic types are not as old school as than you think… he pump over 100 million dollars into building a super computer and claimed back a rebate from the austrailian government for millions for research and development for scientific purposes. Now thats the way you can legally use your bitcoin for good whilst still avoiding tax and receiving a fat rebate for your cause in return. In my eyes guys a genius weather he’s satoshi or not.

i don’t think gavin is looking for attention or milage. i truly believe gavin wants whats best for the whole crypto community.

‘‘Wright has been seeking attention since before claiming to be Satoshi, prolonged the attention at every opportunity, and forever claiming to not want what he is seeking - attention’’

i really don’t see it like that, i think craig is being low key about modeling scability on a supercompter. I’m quite young so i do not have kids yet, but i do have a good judge of character and to me he doesn’t come across as if he’s acting or lying, he seems honest. but like gavin i too could be wrong.

i made it clear on this forum back in december on why i believe he is satoshi. my opinion has not changed as is not based on gavins and definitely not any media outlet. my opinion is only based on the facts available on dr craig steven wright, out of genuine interest i researched everything i could about this guy and came to my conclusion way before he claimed to be satoshi, i can have an opinion on who i think satoshi is without 4th hand information jibes.

Craig,we don’t believe you. Enough talking nonsense.

i would like to see you test your thoery, please attempt to get listed in the top 20 on that website. If you can, i will be amazed, if anyone can do it then you’ll prove your point and i may be forced to reconsider. If you post the name of your bogus computer here before you do it though to verify your trick ill pay 0.1 btc for your time. if can manage to pull it off then fair play, you deserve 0.1, if not then its just hot air.

You missed the point of how many people the information passes through before you get it, don’t worry.

And it doesn’t worry you that all his proofs so far have not been proofs?

And you see the number of appearances he has sought after, including the latest and yet still hold to his claim of wanting to remain private. His moving means nothing since its more likely to be because of economics than being private.

The reason I mentioned kids, was that when you bring up 6 kids you learn that they usually appear sincere whether lying or telling the truth. They know your buttons and know what words to use to appear more honest. (your kids are a product of you) They have not yet realised that their actions give them away. The smarter they are the better liars they tend to be. Lying is a development trait that if absent usually means a disorder or just plain dumb.

This man has sought out media attention, and if you choose to believe otherwise against the obvious facts of him doing so, then nothing will convince you otherwise.

So I leave you to your faith. I personally will eat popcorn and watch the drama unfold.

the information i seek is not weather he is satoshi nakamoto. I seek information directly from the horses mouth. I spent the time to read almost everything craig has wrote and made a judgement call on weather i believe this man capable of creating bitcoin. My conclusion was that dr craig steven wright (or maybe david irvine) is satoshi nakamoto.

So… Blockstreamcore removed gavin git access.

The future looks bleak. Last month, bsc are considering to change the code before the halfing because it concerns them that halfing will reduce mining power, and therefore lead to catastrophe. This is really concerning. A lot of people who invested in it…will lose all of their money because of reckless move by blockstreamcore.

The bitcoin community is divided, and even more divided than ever. There is no hope. I been holding on to hope of the /r/btc community and I see nothing gain from it.

Basically, gavin screwed the entire bitcoin ecosystem and the community by handing over the software to Adam, the professional liar.

OMG WTF IS GOING ON?/

Gavin:

I was as surprised by the ‘proof’ as anyone, and don’t yet know exactly what is going on.
It was a mistake to agree to publish my post before I saw his– I
assumed his post would simply be a signed message anybody could easily
verify.
And it was probably a mistake to even start to play the Find Satoshi game, but I DO feel grateful to Satoshi.
If I’m lending credibility to the idea that a public key operation
should remain private, that is entirely accidental. OF COURSE he should
just publish a signed message or (equivalently) move some btc through
the key associated with an early block.

Now here is a new rumor. Craig is using his super computer to crack the private key to the address to the first block. That is why he needs some time before moving some coins from the first block address. {/totallymadeup]
