like @Blindsite2k mentioned, you may want to keep an app like this in the messaging protocol. If it isnt technically saved to SAFE, the storage and deduplication will not kick in…i think…lol…you may want to check this thread as well…

Hi, I wondering if this is possible: Use cases: (simpler) Transfer of a file between two clients, without either client becoming aware of the other’s IP address. (more clients, but same idea) SAFEtorrent: a swarm of clients sharing chunks of a file until they all have the complete file. How might SAFEnet be used to obfuscate the IP addresses of the two or more clients without actually uploading the file to SAFEnet?
