Correction to some of the things mentioned beneath, thanks @neo for pointing them out. Only Daniel voted insecurely and the voting proposal was stopped 2 days ago and will maybe return at a later stage. The 1% to 99%, is correct because everybody else was saying yes continue with blockchain.
@dallyshalla I post my message here, because I’m still not able to just login to safe.exchange.
Somehow you keep thinking that playing with blockchain and clearnet is the way to go. Well our
first vote on safe.exchange is a disaster, people voting are risking getting their privatekeys stolen.
There is totally no HTTPS, meaning attackers can snoop on and steal data going through. IMHO this is something that would have NEVER happened on the SAFE Network. All the people that have voted, risked their data being compromised.
I’m no security expert and it’s probably my fault in the first place to ask to vote, but this is a serious security issue. This is not an attack on you or the people bravely voting yes “let’s continue with blockchain”. I found out today (about the missing https) while giving the voting site a second inspection.
I HOPE THAT NOBODY BLAMES DANIEL FOR THIS SECURITY ISSUE, BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT YOU ALL ARE VOTING YES FOR. With the SAFE Network you got security provide by default.
No luckily I didn’t, I did it my way (my 1 no vote against 99 yes votes):
Luckily the voting mechanics is also complex, so not many people voted those who did need to move their coins from their privatekeys.
This not a good start, but it clearly shows how vunerable the current systems
are and we’re not even talking about the securities of blockchains and if Daniel
with his team will be able to keep up.
I’m willing to even give 10% of my SEC to see this project return back to the
SAFE Network where it belongs, but 1% against 99% tough luck getting it done.
But those who still want to support blockchain and clearnet, let this be a warning
that you can loose all your coins playing on that playground.
@dallyshalla I’m not selling my SEC, but you’ll see what the SAFE Network is worth within 2 years, hopefully for this project everybody will stay that loyal to safe.exchange.
