RT and other media

Isn’t RT a garbage publisher? Previously Russia Today is it not? Genuine question

No different than any other propaganda like cnn/fox/bbc. Each has their own agenda. Iirc Max Keiser has claimed in the past they are pretty good since they don’t censor him and give him editorial freedom.

Personally I think it’s worse than most. Can’t comment on CNN. BBC is awful in some areas excellent in others. It’s a real problem these days learning what areas any particular organisation tends to be useful for which is one reason curating your own Twitter followed has value. There are also independent organisations popping up such as Byline Times which offer independent journalists more opportunities than established, corporate or state backed media.

You REALLY don’t want to go near the comments on RT, its like the Mail and Express combined with redneck Amerikka.

So - they are state-funded? So is the BBC. Makes a change from the Zionist funded newspapers we have to endure every day - and then parroted on the “impartial” BBC with their mendacious “What the papers say”.

RT isnt perfect but I challenge you to prove any downright lies on it - unlike our own Isreali-controlled “free press”.

I’m skeptical, and so is this site:

Who is checking that site you quote for even-handedness?

I’m skeptical…

And aware this could run and run

What others? I must admit to not watching the BBC too much these days but if we are talking news and current affairs then I’d be very interested to hear what it is good at.

If on the other hand, you refer to upper-middle-class period dramas and turgid “Grim oop north” churn then it might suit you, but the rest of us are not so easily impressed. It will take a LOT more than Attenborough (one of the few bits of the Beeb I was happy to work in) to make up for its litany of other failures.

This won’t happen though, besides it would be a mishmash of everyone but Likud and that includes the ones worse than Likud. The solution to the problem will not come from within, that has been tried many times and failed.

I think reading as much as possible is always good. As is always being skeptical. Although doubting everything makes as little sense as believing everything. (I think understanding this is important.) I follow the likes of https://www.oann.com on Twitter, just to see what they are talking about. The comment sections can also be informative… I also try to read the Bible, in the original language if I can. But of course, one only has so much time, and there certainly is printed matter that I don’t want to waste mine on.

You mean we (and the Palestinians) have to wait until America collapses financially and the subsidies end?
Lets see how keen the Chosen tribe are at putting their hands in their own pockets rather than the US taxpayers to prop up their apartheid state.

You have taken that too far… but then again maybe you did not get it read to you every day by your (otherwise very loving and kind) grandparents.

Now you really have taken it too far… How is your ancient Hebrew? I can just about transliterate some pyccian but the squiggles of the ancients are beyond me. How I envy you true polyglots. Chapeau.

OAN eh? oananists, certainly.

Sorry, its an open goal for my puerile humo(u)r.
seriously I will try and take a look but I always have the Daily Mail and Express for that purpose here in the Untied Kingdom

Yes, exactly. It will only end when there isn’t an endless supply of weaponry to prop up the state, and a steady flow of foreign currency from exports. You saw how they did it in SA, no other solution works cause the 80% of the people who can vote are quite comfortable with things the way they are :frowning: So, yeah I saw buncha articles on this today, didn’t phase me at all.

Nothing exceeds like excess.

I don’t know any Semitic languages at all. I did study some classical Attic Greek a long time ago. It is hard! But the language of the New Testament is Koine Greek which is much simpler, and apparently even looked down upon a bit by the true scholars. (I guess my teacher was a bit of a snob.)

Terrorists will never win, that includes commies.

One of the differences between SA and Israel is that the white supporters of the anti-apartheid movement were almost exclusively Jewish, from Joe Slovo through to Helen Suzmann. In fact other than Helen Joseph, I cannot immediately think of a white anti-apartheid activist who was NOT Jewish.**
This might have contributed to the fairly even-handed treatment of the anti-apartheid movement by the MSM in the 70s and 80s. We see a very different prospect today with the vilification of the BDS movement, which as you correctly state, will be the weapon that brings this edifice down. Hit them where it REALLY hurts - in the bank account. Hence their fear and loathing of BDS.

** I just remembered the pathetic Peter Hain. How much he actually contributed - other than vandalising a rugby(?) pitch, I do not know. This is not really my specialist subject.

to be fair, it’s more like the commies always win, so the CIA funds terrorists to take them down and then the USM is sent in to do the cleanup.
edit: i’ll avoid discussing politics, let’s just all agree on freedom
