Pre-Dev-Update Thread! Yay! :D

Once cli gets updated I am going to get my party hat on. That is my incoming test canary right now.

I’m expecting a really really exciting testnet!

I think it is just a PR or two in routing…

Yeah, a lot of activity, but no sign of T6 announcement Tonight.

Lets pray for Thursday.

We might get lucky this week but better to get it right

I disagree. In my opinion it is better to get just something that is a step away from previous problems. No need to get anything very slick. I am hooked at waiting the next episode after the cliffhanger we got last Friday:

Without testnet it would feel like moving back to the “no timelines” zone. Well, of course there are not timelines at the moment, too, but you know what I mean.

But this is just my opinion, and it is not about the actual technical development, it’s just about what kind of narrative would feel better. Cliffhangers should be resolved soon enough :slightly_smiling_face: And I am confident they will.

im getting this…

willie@gagarin:~/projects/maidsafe/sn_dbc_mint$ safe update
Checking target-arch... x86_64-unknown-linux-musl
Checking current version... v0.26.0
Checking latest released version... v0.27.0
New release found! v0.26.0 --> v0.27.0
New release is *NOT* compatible
Error: Error performing update: ReleaseError: No asset found for target: `x86_64-unknown-linux-musl`

Is safe 0.26.0 compatible with sn_node 0.46.3 now?

0.27.0 is compatible with 0.46.3

josh@pc1:~$ safe node bin-version
sn_node 0.46.3
josh@pc1:~$ safe -V
sn_cli 0.27.0

AHH sorry @southside I did not see that you were in sn_dbc_mint there… not sure about that.

Thatsa OK - thats just the directory I was in at the time

I can confirm that unzipping sn_cli-0.27.0-x86_64-unknown-linux-musl.zip from Release sn_cli v0.27.0 · maidsafe/sn_cli · GitHub into ~/.safe/cli works just fine

Im going old-skool with my terminal

Thank you

Did you ever get index.json to work? I am making no progress on that front.

Yes it worked fine
I should have some time later and will show my working - but it just works if you add the part after safe:// to http://localhost:8080/blog

The Runes of github are definitely converging on goodness. I’m gonna say definitely not today but 75% tomorrow, so if it is today I still ‘win’.

No :chicken: was harmed in the creation of this reply.

There’s definitely a chance!
We’ve been testing all day and there are a couple of bugs which we’ll be trying to fix tomorrow. Hopefully that all goes well and we’re on for later tomorrow. Usual disclaimers apply!
