That’s a good picture. It’s just that e.g. in the USSR it would have said “At least we’re not capitalists.”, and it would have been just as good.

EDIT: Also, you wouldn’t have been allowed to publish a picture like that in the USSR, but that’s kind of beside the point. To me the point is that the text on the bottom changes, while the rest stays the same.

EDIT: “Socialism”, just like “capitalism” are brands. They rarely have anything to do with the product.

The first cartoon shows exactly what elitist eugenicists mean by ‘overpopulation’…Salt vs Slugs seems to accurately show the general sentiment of people lining up for a dosing and actually electing to engage with experimental eugenics…and at least the sheep in the last cartoon believe that wolves and lions exist…it certainly helps survival to be able to actually recognise and identify a threat…

Here’s a couple of stickers i’ve seen around lately and really appreciate - thanks to the original posters…

Best laid plans of mice and men fair no better. Statism == arrogance

Capitalism succeeds as a diverse range of entrepreneurs people risk their own money, so they are highly motivated to work hard. Even so most fail, leaving only the best ideas to rise to the top of the marketplace. Not true with the State - they believe their ideas are too good to fail, so they are monolithic and mandatory.

I’ll leave corporations out of this analogy as they are hybrid organisms receiving huge benefits from the State.
