Hey @dallyshalla just a quick question: I received a short amount of BTC in January, so I guess that´s my SEC. Could you (or anyone who´s online) give me a short intro how to deposit these coins somewhere else? I use Krytokit.
Hey neo, don´t shout at me but I kept my MAID from beginning at Poloniex (and still have them there), so i have no experience with OMNI. I have some idea though: does that mean I have to send my whole BTC stash to my OMNI wallet and the SEC will appear then? Thanks for your answer and in advance for the solution to my problem
OK, I am not going to shout at you. I have 1/4 of my MAID there too.
First did you go to omniwallet.org and put the public address in and click to see the balance?
If you want to send them from that address then you need a wallet that understands the omni protocol (omniwallet.org has a online wallet that works (in chrome only))
You will need 0.00035BTC to do send SEC to another address[quote=“Artiscience, post:127, topic:6110”]
does that mean I have to send my whole BTC stash to my OMNI wallet

They are on the blockchain so no need to send them anywhere to appear, they are already there. You can import your private keys into the omniwallet once you create the wallet at the site. Then you can send them to say a paper wallet, or exchange (not poloniex though)
Sounds like you listened to my podcast, where I said, “Gotta get you some, even if it’s just a few bucks worth.” I actually had no idea it could do what it’s doing now. I just figured everybody should have some to use the exchange!
