I donāt know how you trade, but I had the impression you bought dips and sold rallies.
In that case you did not help buy to fund the project, but bought coins others were selling, as David stated they always sold above market price.

Yes, you holding some coins will help to maintain the price somewhat, but that is not what you stated.

ok maybe I stop the falls so that there is a higher price for them to sell it to someone else. Either way I predict the price we find will be much lower if there is no more good place to trade and the only buyers are people willing to HODL super long term.
Now its basically back where it was before the de-listing notice. I will take that as a nice Christmas present

nah I am not playing this anymore now that its getting closer to the end of trading. What would make me smile is if we figured out a way to still have a market in the new year so I could keep playing the game.
You guys are talking of a shake out as though its so easy to move maid and sell it. Most maid wallets are probably long term hodlers, daily volume is a joke and most than probably Poloniex exchange was trying to get rid of their maid. Some people from this tribe have taken the opportunity to buy at lower prices. It is as simple as that.

Your statement fails to convince me, you say it is not like that, but that is exactly how it would be, all coins would be returned to their original owner, so I donāt see how you can say itās not like that.
As you point out, they would lose anyway, that is true.
As for saying most coins would be on the same address, possibly, but if we see significant gains, possibly not.

I never used the word stealing. I simply said coins would be returned to the original owner, which is true in the the scenario I was discussing.
You mentioning friends and wallets and $ was a deviation from what we were discussing.
We were discussing the network, and sale of tokens, and what would happen if the network needed a restart.

What do people think will happen by the end of the month when Polo trading is halted? Not sure how easy it is to predict, but then again I canāt think regarding this matter, inadvertently at this timeā¦ hence asking here. I havenāt been keeping track of trading/volume/transfer patterns to be able to tell. Plus I canāt view Bittrex. Maybe MaidSafe will surprise us more towards New Year with a new exchange(s)? Maybe nothing will happen. Maybe people are less willing to divulge genuine predictions over the years due to being better at keeping secrets themselves.
Low liquidity will bring further price suppression because big fish want to get in their hands even the little remaining MAID on the market before alpha 3ā¦
