Looks like factom have a few other exchanges with decent liquidity. Maybe that is helping them shrug off the change?

Regarding Tether and Tron… Just looking at the article above.
More interestingly, Omni Core 0.7.0 enables the building of an on-chain decentralized exchange. The new version of the Omni protocol allows users to trade any on-chain asset for Bitcoin.

As Cointelegraph reported, in March Tether launched USDT tokens on the Tron blockchain. As of late October, nearly 12% of all the stablecoin’s supply was moved on the new chain. More recently, in July, Tether also announced the launch of the USDT stablecoin on its fifth blockchain, Algorand.
A sweetheart deal so that Tether continues to move to Tron (and poloniex) instead of going more distributed on omni?

Can you trade on polo, albeit for a short while, since they no longer require kyc?
Remember the maid coins are like 10% of total supply. So its based of a 300mil mkt cap estimate based on these prices alone. Still overvalued imo and its been 5 years with no product, completely justified drop regardless of exchange delistings never trust an ico, satoshi perfected the art of solitude, distribution and how you can get things done with no funding.

The real reason why Tether moves onto TRON is another…,
it’s about not being followed up on each free multimillion USDT
minting. How many times they only could temporarily switch off
the following up on OMNI Explorer… only a few times, but
the records still remain… once the explorer works again.
Instead, with TRON, they can print a lot more USDT in the future
with questionable accountability or using provable deniability…
Most TRON Nodes are in the inner circle of Justin Sun, they
decide how their blockchain looks, that is, which blocks are
included in the public chain. Somehow…, it allows for ‘games’.

We do have a minor troll problem.
I do think they are wasting their time if they are traders. Every significant price movement of maid is linked to bitcoin or black Swan effects like the exchange delisting.
If there is any further price fall, imagine under $0.01… I and many here will just fill our boots up.
The traders also have compitition by us hodlers.
I’m not sure there will be any cheap coins left.

Do you know if Omni has any plans to upgrade their UI? They could become much more liquid if their trading UI became more intuitive.

I can’t see any downsides to creating an erc20 maid, but why stop there? Make maidsafe an asset on every major platform, NEO, EOS, (and soon Cardano) etc. This would make use of the Safenetwork an easy transition for all tribes of crypto and a no-brainer for the respective DEX’s to add. It would need to be done by Maidsafe to be highly trusted, this would be an olive branch to other communities. In the end I believe that only an MVP from Maidsafe will effect the price in any meaningful way. Either way I’m here for the long haul.
