I think I found out what causes the problem/message “complete:error” on Poloniex when withdrawing Maid. Just make sure that when you paste your address in the address box it has no empty space from the right side. In other words you have to make sure that you paste the address just at the first letter from the right. Using copy paste may cause a one letter space which may cause a problem for the system to identify the address. I hope It clarifies the issue and makes sense.

That could cause the issue; however, I checked for extra spaces on two failed attempts. Using identical process on the third attempt worked perfectly. All that changed is that I’d contacted Polo about it, and they’d pushed through the first two attempts as well. Who knows…
In other news, sounds like buy orders out weigh sell orders for MAID. Can anyone confirm?
On a side note, if Polo is now under Asian management, I’m wondering how that should impact the marketing strategy, both in terms of better reaching an Asian audience as well as finding new routes to reach and provide access to US consumers. For example, when hosting a meetup, it would be great to be able to let people know how they can acquire MAID.

Haven’t been there in so long, I didn’t realize that was the case. Can’t say I’m sorry to see them go. I’ve updated post to reflect that they aren’t an option.
Let’s hope that Polo International (or whatever they’ll call themselves) has better MAID trading volume than Bittrex International. To get there though will likely require a somewhat retooled marketing strategy, I think.

You can buy maid on HitBTC as a US citizen if you don’t verify your identity for a verified account and stay as a general tier and are happy with a daily withdrawal limit of 1BTC and a monthly limit of 5BTC

I know you don’t mean anything bad, @Mendrit . I just don’t think even joking about people having to leave their home is very nice. It comes too close to certain people telling their fellow countrymen to “go back home” if they don’t like it “here”.

I’d encourage you to stay where you are and fight for freedom. In a way almost wish I did live in the US just for the glory of a good philosophical battle 
oh FYI zero spot trading fees starting today. I assume even if you are from the US you can take advantage of this til nov 1 and grab some cheap MAID without even paying a trading fee. Time to make the big move and gather up what your gonna HODL long term!

Are they supplying liquidity for the successful listings? No several hundred K fee? If so look at us look at us
