Donāt hate you brother. If the thread bugs you then maybe abstain. Like I said itās all perspective. You could say itās going to $2 (about double of ATH) and maybe someone else says youāre the one whoās drunk. People say bitcoin is going to zero all the time. Itās not like thatās impossible but itās less likely. Here weāre just disagreeing on what is more or less likely with a large margin of uncertainty.
You feel like bringing a fire hose to a sparkler show, be my guest. You seem more determined than anyone else in this thread to force your opinion.

As usual there is a lot of fun speculation in this thread right now. But this tech has a unique position, like Tesla has a unique position. It hardly belongs in the crypto sphere, it is not a blockchain. I think it is difficult to compare it with other coins. When MAID breaks out, it may leave the crypto sphere entirely, and become its own unique anomaly, which will set a new standard. Anyones guess about price under this projection is valid. But because of its unique position of reinventing the internet, it is likely to be very successful.

Man, I think this all the time of some of the āinfluencersā out there amongst traders and it is frustrating that they will potentially have an even bigger influence with all their money. Iād rather people here have that money personally.

A factor that wasnāt mentioned here is that Filecoin miners needed to obtain coins to stake to join the network. That was a big contributor to the initial price run up. To a much lesser extent, in addition to needing coins to pay for storage, coins are needed to retrieve data. So my general point is that Filecoin had some factors that stimulate demand for the coins.
With SAFE, there is no need to stake coins to farm, nor is there payment for data retrieval. The only demand is for storing data (apart from any demand related to speculation/ store of value etc). So say hypothetically that the network is initially adopted as a better version of torrenting. There we have a bunch of clients just retrieving data (leechers in the torrent world). They have no requirement to acquire coins. We have farmers being rewarded for storing and providing the data at a higher rate than what people are paying to store the data. In this scenario the price could be depressed by the inflation off the supply without much demand for the coins. I guess hereās to hoping SAFE will have some ākiller appsā that find adoption that require storage from their users.

I think the only thing scary about large millionaires or billionaires being created is through the forms of which they already have. I for one hope that there are some people on here who get that opportunity because regardless of what their background is, sticking around with a project for this long and waiting with excitement every Thursday for an update shows itās about the platform and money, not just money. I think most of us could have made and some did make nice cash last time around by buying stupid projects that we knew were nothing more than cash cows. For me, this project has been an experience and I hope we get to see the finished product and what comes with it.

Basically, I said nothing like that. But it is interesting you reacted, and that you reacted like you did.
Because of all people here, I always thought that you were the nicest, the most harmless person around. And that scares the poop out of me, because, not knowing you personally, I also think that making someone like you crazy rich means burying you in leeches. But again, that is none of my business. Still, it hit me that becoming oh-so wealthy may not be so great after all.
I thought I was speaking for everyone, being that you donāt actually know any of the people and their circumstances in life. You realize how hard it is to actually become a billionaire anyway, right? Without a million things happening by the time bigger increases in price actually start happening. Apparently Iām not nice anymore for speaking up for others.
I promise if Safetoken makes me a millionaire Iāll remain the same. Treat people the same way I do, love the food I love now. Continue working. The only difference will be I no longer have to worry about banks coming after me.

No, I still think you are a very, very nice person. I had no idea you spoke up for the others, and even if you did, I would still think you are nice. And you are right with this:
I do not change opinions on people just because they call me out on something. I keep changing myself though. And I have been starting to feel like bound to make a move from this whole project. I no longer share some its values and I feel like a hypocrite.

If this project makes me rich, I plan to contribute my time to writing apps and improving the safe network ecosystem. It would feel great to contribute to something so worthy.

Ok well I suppose with so much free time and a barn full of snowmobiles I would try to do something charitable like have disadvantaged youths come up to my property and play

lol there were certain rules like no touching and no photosā¦ but trust me its not hard to hire someone for the job if you got 300 bucks to fling at them. Anyone can do it. Well TBH the cleaning was like 6 out of 10 quality but the fact it was also a show made the whole thing 10 out of 10!

This could be for personal reasons you donāt feel like sharing so obviously no pressure but I am curious how you feel the values of the overall project have changed? Iāve seen some small shifts or exposure within the community that Iām not fond of but that wonāt deter me from what potential I see. As long as people are being decent (we are human after all) then I suppose thatās all I can hope for.
Personally, Iād hate to see you go.
