Well prior to @anon61899651 's post people were saying like “yes we will do marketing but it’s not the time yet.” This one sounds like no paid marketing effort ever. So which one is it?
sure you told me they have the money for marketing. But now someone else is telling me the promised never to use the money for marketing. I am just trying to find out which one of these conflicting statements is true.
Think you misunderstood me. Getting the product out is the only priority at the moment. After, marketing will obviously kick off.

certainly one marketing-like thing that doesn’t cost anything is if people on this forum be less hostile to potential investors asking hard questions.
hate to tell you @happybeing but if we really are seeing a bunch of new people get involved there is going to be many rehashings of debates that were already had by who was already here prior.
It’s not hostile to point out that you are contradicting what you’ve been told.
Having been here seven years you may not be surprised to hear that this is not news to me.
My point was that this is there for you to read if you want. It’s fine if you don’t want to read what’s recently been discussed, and instead choose to “rehash” it, but you should expect to be called out if you don’t appear to be reading what we have taken the time to explain.
To be fair, you’re not really asking hard questions, you’re just disagreeing with the path that is being taken.
One thing seems clear to me. This community puts too much emphasis on seniority. Its still the same people that have been here for 7 years controlling the conversation and no one new really wanting to join in. I think I’ll keep an eye on that though. If I see lots of new faces wanting to be here then the community is growing. If not, its still stagnant.

People have been very generous with your questions, while at the same time being straightforward with you and not falling over themselves to beg you for your investment. Which is a perfectly healthy response in my eyes.

What about tomorrow when MAID gets on its new exchange (and where US can directly trade for the first time in awhile)? I’m surprised the volume isn’t the same; but maybe that means there was just more hype from all the updates plastered on the forum, and now it’s a more calm storm, to lead up tomorrow to a “bigger” (i.e. more volume all around than multiple years [or perhaps ever before? to be the most optimistic]) storm. News stories about MAID price; + exchange release + test net all tomorrow…
Yes, I personally would expect more volume with a testnet release and all the other things you outlined. Generally speaking, more consistent volume comes from project acknowledgement combined with new exchange listings. We all know volume has been low for a very long time. I would like to see an uptick in moderate consistency rather then random spikes as I think we all would.

Myself included, maybe I just don’t know about the exchange but I also looked at its other pairings and I have access to the majority of coins they offer somewhere else that I already use so there was no need to find this particular exchange until now.
