Soon, all going well.
Welcome to the forum!
I canât say too much yet, hopefully all will come good and weâll be able to share soon.
Thank you sirs.
I canât code my way out of a digitally reproduced paper bag so I am still trying to figure out ways - aside from investment - I can help the cause as a volunteer. I do marcomms/brand management/PR/content in the e-gaming sphere. Perhaps that may come in handy at some point.
I canât code either, but I think there is one really important way: most people canât code so theyâre like you and me. When the network and safe coin go live talk to the people you know (in as non-proselytizing way as possible - difficult I know) and show them what it can do to protect them from hackers and take back control of their data. I donât insist when people donât seem interested, but in my experience most people are very interested and thatâs only going to grow along with ID theft.
Yep. Itâs been a tricky sell while still a concept, and one with such a broad range of benefits. Itâll be easier when I can give them the headlines, email a referral link and let (hopefully a very intuitive) UX do the rest.
Running the orderbook is far more profitable than long term investing. Part of the issue here is there are no clear indications on when the company will become productive and burn rates are front and center for investors.
What I meant was that a person that heavily invested in MSC should be interested in having the funding succeed, even if it was just to raise/keep the value of their coins.
Just an evil idea: if someone/people with a lot of money and mainly interested in personal gains, waits until the end of the period (12 october) to invest the remaining part to get to the minimal required, he/they could gain by buying cheap Maidsafe (because it seems the minimum wonât be reached) on e.g. 11 october and sell afterwards with profit, because the goal has been reached.
Letâs hope that opportunity never presents itself, due to the minimum being reached well before the deadline.
You are suggesting the price of safecoin will take a nice bounce when the minimum is hit. Will that be regardless of when it hits or only if the deflated coin holders are dragged into the 11th hour?
This is confidence building and great to hear. Can you share any details of these anticipated âlarger investmentsâ? I assume this is not pure speculation and can only mean there have been/are backroom discussions. I will also assume you are feeling confident the minimums will be met. Thanks
The main thing I was wondering about: will somebody, if the opportunity arises, try to profit with safecoin with the foreknowledge that he will make the minimum at BnkToTheFuture happen?
Random example: from 60 to 100% of the minimum at 1 day remaining.
In scenarios like these one can be forgiven to hope on a bounce of the price of the safecoins.
That scenario is probably unrealistic, because of a lot of factors I donât know or didnât think about. For example the volume of traded safecoins has to increase a lot. Otherwise you canât buy a lot of them at a low price.
People selling safecoins to help to get to the minimum could of course lower the price, hence make for a greater bounce.
But enough of this wondering for me: Iâll invest modestly to help prevent such a scenario (not only for that reason of course
).
The 1000 is a little steep for me right now. Otherwise Iâd be investing. ![]()

MyLegacyKit,
Do you know if this applies to an investor who invests in bitcoins? Or rather would it be possible using bitcoins and a VPN?
Yes it is. Sign up and try for yourself. I think that is just legalese to cover their behinds.
I discussed this exact same thing two days ago. Great minds think alike alas so do fools.
I live in the USA and verified all my required proofs for the USA. I was able to invest (with bitcoin at least) without a problem. Went smooth and will use BNK to the future again in the future;)
