I can’t wait for MaidSafe to go RTM and see the big soap of privacy warriors on one side and the intelligence services on the other side. 
In many countries, my own included, serious lobbying is being done to make privacy (although they call it unbreakable encryption) illegal. There are interesting times ahead already, and MaidSafe has perfect timing. Unless ofcourse they need another 10 years, heheh 
Seeing SafeNet changing the playing field is something to look forward to. I can even imagine the MaidSafe software becoming illegal. That was my first thought when I heard about the Asia deal and the China market. I’m getting off-topic though. Are there any threads already discussing either topic?

I tried several times online but transfer always failed. I contacted BF support and possible cause of errors are:
-
sending euros instead of pounds
-
wrong account name (BANK TO FUTURE instead of BNKTOTHEFUTURE)
Yesterday I went to my local branch and tried again with the help of my bank advisor. I took care of all expenses to be sure that that BF receives £1,000. I hope that this time the transfer will succeed.

Freedom, security and privacy are much more powerful than just a company tagline. Bitcoin was very disruptive tech, SAFE is a complete game-changer.
Bad press, legislation… these things only serve to advertise it if they can’t turn it off or monitor users

Does this mean that 6.25% is sold to us for $1.3 mil? And we get less as more funds are raised?
I’ll keep doing my part to raise it even if that’s the case, to help the team; just wondering how it works. Crowdsale coin mathematics might not apply here?

Nope, hence the ‘equity remaining 3.13 / 6.25%’ on the investor page when you log in.
So don’t worry about dillution at this stage 
I’m pretty sure not. I think the percentage of equity issued will be pro rata to the $ invested. So, 50% of the capital = 50% of the equity, otherwise MaidSafe would be dropping the price substantially.

With a $40,367,177 market cap, a fund in which anyone is able to invest any amount of maidsafecoin shouldn’t be a difficult task (task=rise £900,000 for a single investment in bttf)
A trustless way of do it, would be a problem.

Thought about investing, but sadly to me the proposition is not enough to put more capital into it due to the lack of roadmap with time horizon estimations. Won´t sell my Maidsafecoins though and good luck to the fundraiser.

Oh you didn’t see the roadmap? Here you go:
Alpha 1 (launched already) → 4-6 weeks Alpha 2 with datachains → 4-6 weeks Alpha 3 (more polished ver of A2) → 4-6 weeks Beta! (test SafeCoin, etc) → 4-6 weeks B2 → 4-6 weeks B3, maybe a B4 → real SafeCoin launch!
Total approx time 22 - 32 weeks from today, is the estimate.
