Legality issues of storing someone else's files on your computer

Moderators should have a greater understanding of how things are done here and behave according to the standards set. Good to see you’ll work to that.

Thanks for choosing what moderators should do and how they should act, let’s get back to topic because you’re derailing the thread.

Yeah, no surprises here. It is a problem that has not been addressed properly. The answers most have offered here are inadequate and in some cases foolish and I if I were you I would continue looking for a solution.

I’m closing this topic because the OP has been changed completely as shown in my previous post (Legality issues of storing someone else's files on your computer - #79 by Melvin)

If someone would like to continue a discussion related to the posts here, please read Neo his post below.

The Opening Posters question has been changed from what everyone has been answering and is now the above.

That being the case there are a number of topics answering that question and very heated ones,

Rather than have yet another heated debate, I suggest the OP and others avail themselves of the material already posted and continue the discussions in the one broad topic left open to continue these discussions.

In the past people have been shown the other topics and have not seen it necessary to continue in the one left open

Please continue discussions in the current topic for this discussion (Yes I know the topic title doesn’t suggest it, but it is the best place to continue discussions) See

I will add some of the other topics that discussed various aspects (at length)
