So, if I understand correctly, currently I could trade or buy some MSC and keep it at a Bitcoin address, which to me essentially means that it is Bitcoin. I have a lower, scripting level understanding of Bitcoin and I am curious as to what exactly says that my Bitcoin is MSC, and I guess I’m curious to see if I could put it in a multisig since I like to do that with my Bitcoin.

No, it isn’t bitcoin but it uses the bitcoin blockchain so it’s better to say it is dependent on bitcoin.
