[How To]: Buy/Move/Store OMNI MAID :safe: hardware and software wallets

The 8000 sat transaction fee when using omnitrezor.

Apparently its hard coded into the omnitrezor code, so can’t be adjusted like you can with normal trezor transactions.

Yes, there is no such option…

I have problem I cant send MAID from trezor to another BTC adress . It shows: https://i.gyazo.com/c98e12bd3dbdf1f5520ee5964b6e3958.png and fee is only btw: 0.000114 BTC

Try with https://trezor.github.io/omni-trezor/

I think its some inner problem bug with adress, because previously it worked, and PC dont change. I send on same adress 2x maid and btc, is possible to restore to another wallet?

Should it be working with Firmware 9.3? I was using version 8.something but for some reason it says the below. Then I have upgraded to 9.3 and still the same thing.
PS: not legacy account. Is it supposed to work only on legacy?

Do you have 8000 satoshi in the address with MAID?

Probably not. I thought it was only needed to use the send function

It is also needed to appear on the site…

I have looked around and I still am not 100% confident about using simpleswap.

I am using simpleswap and I have an omniwallet. My question is, and I’m so sorry but I am quite dumb, do I have to create a new address within my wallet specifically for maidsafecoin, or do I just send it to my normal wallet address? Is it really as simple as sending eth/btc to the designated simpleswap address and having them send maidsafecoin to my omniwallet address?

Also, anyone know how to get 2fa set up on omniwallet? I don’t see an option inside my account.

Yes, that’s all there is to it!

If you really want to make it harder for people to trace what is moving where, you can use different public addresses and what not, but I find that to be more of a hassle than it’s worth.

See in the OP:

Glad to hear it’s working with the new firmware. I was going to buy a new Trezor because I was not upgrading the firmware so I could still access MAID, but I couldn’t get to Cardano cause that wallet won’t work with the OLD firmware.

So it seems I can upgrade to 9.3 and get into both wallets, yes?
