Article in the Guardian
Cool article, and welcome!
same as @rthgnl the Guardian article, although I already had a vague sense of remembering it from some earlier reference that I hadn’t acted on.
From Alex Fortin!!!
In bitcointalk -forum, or maybe Reddit, I don’t remember exactly. I read about the crowdsale and the whole idea made a lot of sense. Still it took over a year to actually buy any MAID and a couple of years to register here.
I was listening to the Crypto Show podcast and Nick Lambert was one of their guests. This piqued my interest and I began researching the SAFE Network afterwards.
I read this book whilst on holiday and maidsafe was one of the projects talked about. When I got home I done some research and since then been trying to accumulate.
In some top 5 for 2017 was MAID very common, but I read that in June 2017, so after big pump.
Anyone remember MasterXchange?
Memory fails us all
That’s what made me believe deeply, once I heard
Hello!
I found this while searching for decrantralised web technologies. That lead me to the article in the Guardian.
Ahh, MasterXchange, that’s how I bought my first tokens. No too long after the crowdsale.
I found it here, Production - Rust Programming Language, while first starting to learn Rust.
David’s interviews on Declare Your Independence, with Ernest Hancock.
Wow crazy how much that list has grown since then. Great job, Rust
I can’t actually remember… I remember reading the old Google group and being sufficiently convinced to take part in the crowd sale. I am guessing it may have been the bitcointalk forums when I used to frequent there.
My intro was from John Harris’ article " the punk rock internet " in the Guardian , brilliant and informative article .
Really pleased I read it, and more pleased to be a part of this community.
Great to see The Guardian article leading to a few new faces here! Welcome!
