The author of TFA decidedly does not understand money, but nevertheless he is right - Greece should leave euro.
Why would people hang onto this statist coin which State can issue in unlimited quantity, when they can hold euros? Or bitcoin, MaidSafe, or gold for that matter? I wonder what would the author say about that?
The fact that these matters are even getting talked about in a publication as broadly read as The Guardian is very telling, and encouraging. It gives crypto cultural exposure, regardless of them trying to make it fiat. People understand at a gut level, if not philosophically, that money can only have value to the degree that it is limited, and that the one commodity in society which has no limit is the untrustworthiness of a politicians promise.
