Can rename? It is Gooey/Downloads or that is where saved files are going (not yet done). I see why it may be a little bewildering.

you chose the brightest random color I have seen yet! some are pretty cool!
If you have a file selected on the left, then click on it again the filepath in the top bar gets screwed up

individual file Downloads are capped to 10MB each for now. Very few will fill their disks and too much could go wrong,
I cant mind the right word for this but your app should not be able to delete all in $USER/Downloads.

I am not seeing why? it is a directory created specifically for files saved by the app, seems logical to want to delete the files.

no if you look in the file tree you will see Gooey with Downloads in it which is where the saved files are planned to go.

You made a good point though, what is happening is not clear.
I didnt RTFM cos there was no FM to FR 
there was an earlier version with info on what each and every button did but I started stripping as it was just too much, I will rather work on making it easier to understand than expect people to read the manual because few do anyway !
These freezes are due to errors I am not handling yet. it will get there!

Yes that is an option but it has been pushed to the tail end of the list. Getting all the major bits working smoothly is priority #1
