Flying Cars Consensus

I have friend who is a CTO of a flying car/vehicle company. I have been briefing him about safe network and how I think it could provide some security features that flying cars will need in the future.

I was thinking that vehicle location information/air traffic control could be protected by the consensus system in safe. Also any other commands that need to be sent and received from a car.

The firmware controlling the fundamental logic of the cars is going to most likely be stored physically on the machine as a cloud based code would not be reliable enough to meet requirements.

I was wondering if it would be feasible to use the safe network to at least monitor the validity of the firmware. This way if a bad actor was to some how gain access to the cars computers it could be quickly detected and sent into some kind of default mode.
