This thread is for all the talk about Fleming Testnet, that is not practical, technical, how-to…
First of all I just want to say, how wonderful it feels that it is finally there, running on its own, minding it’s own business autonomically. It’s a bit unbeliavable, and all the more unbeliavable the more I engage with it. It is a thing, very real, but at same time there is some kind of escaping quality to it. And yet that is precisely a reason why I’m starting to trust it a bit already. I don’t trust it like a stone, but like air.
Somehow the words from Leonard Cohen’s song Democracy comes to my mind:
It’s coming through a hole in the air
From those nights in Tiananmen Square
It’s coming from the feel
That this ain’t exactly real
Or it’s real, but it ain’t exactly there
You know, it’s there, not there and everywhere, always, waiting, ready…
Yeah, you could kind of think and vision it before, but at least for me, this is the moment when it starts to feel like something. And I think it is a sort of an miracle. Well, maybe “miracle” is too strong, or loaded word, but it is a king of wonder.
Yes, well done @dirvine and the whole team Maidsafe!
