If you create it, then it would be your sharing of your data with the patient, not the other way around. Not necessarily from a legal, but definitely from a technical point of view.

You would need to make a copy, that’s all.

These are important points to address, and I believe we’ll have best practice guidelines for situations like this. I think patient records could be made up of a chain of independent blocks, in which case having access to one of them does not automatically give you access to any of the others (unless you are the one creating them.)

You nailed the core concept and where I think SAFE will be able to provide a way to do it the right way and currently is almost impossible to do…and to hand over a practice/easy way for individuals to control (Most providers want this, healthcare IT and insurers do not) all that is just one of millions of reasons I am so excited.
