eMAID (ERC20 MAID) Beta Test

As @neik mentioned, testing is going well.

Technically, this process has already launched. People have already begun burning Omni MAID and receiving eMAID. For those who did not elect to participate in the beta test (I.e. soft launch), the ability to participate in the process will open up soon.

Great work Sotros and everyone else testing this!

One question; should the max total supply of eMaid equal the number of Omni MAID sent to the burn address? I’m seeing 93,911 in the burn address and 29,611 for eMaid.

Emaid can be behind, as omni maid is burned before emaid can be minted.

Emaid should never exceed burned omni maid however.

Remember: never send your money before you have passed the KYC verification. If you don’t pass it successfully, there is NO way to get your OMNI tokens back - no one has the private key for them!

From when you send your omni to the Burn address it can take upto 24 hours for the eMaid to arrive

Great question. This is as @anon61899651 and @neik said.

The minting of eMAID is automated and may take up to 24 hrs. As @Dimitar said, it’s imperative to pass KYC before burning Omni MAID.

This is for omni maid to eMaid in line with Swiss requirements

That makes sense thanks. As long as MAID don’t require KYC for exchanging from Omni to SNT. Fingers crossed.
