Developing an Application

Hello,

Today I began an application that will take about six months to develop.

I was wondering if I could already code my application into the safe network or if this is not yet a possibility? - I am not the developer in the project but I was wondering if someone could enlighten me?

Thank you.

Yes, you can code it for the network now. You can use mock routing for development, then deploy to the Alpha2 network when you are ready.

Second question,

If I have a website, can I move it to the safe network?

More specifics are required to answer that. If the website has a database associated with it in the backend, that would need to be replaced with SAFE API calls. If it is just a static site, you can upload it with the web hosting manager.

Generally speaking yes, so long as it doesn’t have a database at the back end or other complex dependencies.

Just remember that it is still a testing environment and the network data could be wiped and you need to upload everything again for later testnets and alpha/beta networks.
