Border Guards Looked Through Nearly 60 Percent More Electronic Devices in 2017

While I still do not agree with adhoc or random searches the figure for last year was 30,000. My question is how many devices did they not search? Surely the USA has a hell of a lot more people with phones coming into the USA in a year than that 30K

Border guard: Hmmmm what do I see here? BTC wallet! :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
Border guard: clicks on icon and sees/seize eddy’s 1M bitcoin :iphone::guardsman:

Yeah sure, eddy is brainless for not having a brainwallet, luckily those 1M bitcoins are from nodes running on port 8833, so eddy will have the last laugh getting drunk with his brainy friends.

So you don’t cross any boarder with a installed wallet. You can keep the 12 word string written down disguised in any paper pad or elsewhere. Install the wallet when in the country and then uninstall it before leaving.

Oooh I’m just fooling around, it’s a phone specifically made for cryptocurrencies, this would make it fun for border guards. :stuck_out_tongue:
