SpectroCoin offers Bitcoin prepaid cards, which can be used at any ATM around the globe or shops as an ordinary payment card. The card is funded instantly, so you do not have to worry to think about exchanging your bitcoins in advance. The card can be denominated in dollars (USD), euros (EUR) or pounds (GBP).
Oh sure, I’ve had an e-coin (now called wirex) card for ages and use it at the grocers. I haven’t even bothered to authenticate (KYC) myself to them. Last I checked, a year ago, they weren’t available to our friends in the USA due to their banking regulations, but could be used there if one had the card sent to a foreign address and then arrange to forward it to you.
First I have heard of it. Super cool.
I know the feeling.
Sorry don’t have time to dig in but is there an exchange or address or what behind the card? With @dallyshalla 's SafeX will we be able to do something similar with safecoin?
Coinbase and Shift do a card together for US people…I have one and it works great, except for having to use Coinbase…lol.
