App without browser

Hi! I had two questions. I was hoping to get some insight from folks who have better technical knowledge in safe than me.

  • Will it be possible to use SAFEnet from handheld devices (phone, pad etc)?
  • Will it be possible to create app on safenet (for both Phone and PCs) that will run without the browser? Basically what I’m asking is- is it possible to create SAFE version of the popular apps (i.e. Skype, viber etc…) we are using now in our computer or phones?

Yes, it will be possible. There will be different ways to connect to the safe network from different programming languages and environments. Like today, developers will need different GUIs or apps for different targets, but they will ultimately all be speaking to each other via SAFE network.
