This is a great presentation for those that are interested in security. Android uses SE Linux to get the smartphones more secure. They also use tools like “verified boot” to make sure that the kernel bootup is safe and a loads of more stuff is going on under the hood. In the presentation below Nick Kralevich tells about how they made the attack surface in Android smaller to even “fix bugs before they appear”. He shows a old bug in Linux that didn’t cause any problems in Android as they removed a lot of unused functions out of the system. A very interesting presentation.
