Am having issues installing the safe luncher on my ubuntu 16.40

Good morning team.
Am having issues installing SAFE Launcher v0.11.0 on my ubuntu 16.40. After extracting the zip file. I clicked on the safe luncher and it says" Could not connect to the safe network" I need help pls.

There is no network to connect to. This is why you are getting errors.
